Dental implants are a solution for replacing a missing tooth. The implant process typically lasts up to 6-9 months from start to finish. The implant itself resembles a screw that is inserted into the bone. Once placed, it takes about 3-6 months for the bone to heal around the implant, securing it in place. After this healing period, it requires about 2-3 more dental appointments to have a crown placed over the implant and to restore your smile with the finished product.

You will be given local anesthetic which will prevent pain in the area during the procedure. There may be soreness following the procedure that typically lasts between 2-10 days.
