A dental extraction is the medical term used for removing a tooth that is unrepairable due to damage or disease. A dental extraction is sometimes necessary to improve a patient's overall quality of life.
Most offices in Utah charge between $100-$300 for each tooth extracted. Call our office to set up an appointment to discuss your individualized treatment plan and associated fees.
During the procedure, there should be no pain because we use a local anesthetic to numb the area. If there is pain during the procedure, let us know and we will do all that we can to maintain your comfort. You will feel pressure during the procedure and this sensation is normal and cannot be avoided. After an extraction, there can be residual pain and swelling in the area for up to 10 days. Following the extraction, we discuss different methods to minimize this pain.
