A bridge is a common procedure that fills a gap, from a missing tooth, in a smile. It requires a dentist to put crowns on the two teeth on either side of the missing tooth. These crowns support a “fake tooth” that is designed to fill the gap.

How much does a bridge cost?

This depends on how many teeth we are treating. Most offices in Utah will charge about $900-$1,500 for each tooth that is treated. The “fake tooth” counts as a treated tooth. Call our office to set up an appointment to discuss your individualized treatment plan and associated fees.

Is the procedure painful?

You will be given local anesthetic which will prevent pain in the area during the procedure. There may be a small amount of soreness following the procedure that typically lasts 1-2 days.

What type of issues does a bridge solve?

It solves the issue of having a space from a missing tooth in your mouth. Bridges only work when there is a tooth on either side of the empty space.
